Picks = Dicks

I was brainstorming a hilarious video to parody the classic guitar advertisement cliches, and then I found the image below. The image was a startling find since it almost entirely encapsulates the imagined beginning of my movie. I originally thought that my brainstorming session was hyperbolic, but apparently real advertisers think on the same wavelength as I.

The ad is for a guitar pick that sticks to the body of your guitar, for those desperate situations when you forget to leave the guitar picks sitting on top of your amp. Let's face it - if you drop your pick you're going to be silent for a couple bars anyways. I cannot possibly imagine why I a sane guitarist would want to gum up their polished guitar frames with leftover adhesive. Also, that ad makes me wonder if those picks will really stick when the guitar is covered in sweat - which is what happens when you actually perform, as opposed to standing in front of a green screen. Furthermore, if that guitar pick is sticking to your guitar, then it's probably going to stick to your hands; pick versatility - being able to change the position of the pick - is very important.
