Change

In Fernand Terrou and Lucien Solal's 1951 contribution, "Legislation For Press, Film and Radio," to the International Propaganda and Communications series of publications, they write:

"Everyone knows that the films produced in certain countries are all, first and foremost, vehicles of propaganda, expressing ideological beliefs to which all works of art, in every field, must conform." (209)

To that effect, resistance is forced to the fringe.
